Angle sets handblown glass spheres on asymmetrical frames of brass tubing, a series SkLO describes as suited to large spaces and tall volumes. Angle 1.0 is an inverted V that, in SkLO’s words, “hints at symmetry but carefully defies it”, with a 7-inch and a 4.5-inch sphere. Angle 2.0 sets three spheres on arms that point in different directions, and Angle 3.0 runs three along a zigzag of tubing.

About Angle

Each sphere is blown by hand, so its weight varies, and SkLO notes that the drop of each pendant falls within a range. Allow for that when you set the height. Angle can hang from a ceiling sloped up to 30 degrees.

Tell us about the ceiling height, and we’ll help you choose the version.

About

SkLO
SkLO designs hand-blown glass lighting, prototyped in Northern California and made by glassblowers in the Czech Republic; its name comes from the Czech word for glass. Because every piece is blown by hand, each one carries small irregularities that make it unique. Flux Lighting carries the full SkLO range in Ottawa.
