Since our inception in 2002, Flux has been specializing in delivering remarkable lighting solutions for commercial, hospitality, and high-end residential projects. Mara Klammrodt
As a partner/owner of Flux, Mara combines 20+ years of experience with a passion for lighting, design, and architecture. Her journey has been marked by significant achievements, including winning 40 under 40. She believes in the power of good lighting and its ability to enhance our lives and work.
Outside of design and architecture, she loves to spend time with her family and in her garden. This parallels her professional appreciation for growth, aesthetics, and the environment.
With a career illuminated by passion and expertise, Mara brings a unique blend of knowledge and creativity to every project she touches.
Holly Voorneveld
Holly brings a dynamic blend of interior design expertise, technical knowledge, and industry connection to her role as a Residential Sales Representative. An NCIDQ-certified interior designer and Ryerson graduate, she has honed her career working in architecture, millwork design, and marketing.
As a proclaimed “Ottawa Design Hype Girl,” Holly is a proud and supportive member of the local design community. Her collaborative approach and firsthand understanding of the design process allow her to support projects with both creativity and practical insight.
Outside of work, Holly embraces a barefoot lifestyle in Constance Bay with her husband and two daughters. Whether she’s at the beach, hiking forest trails, or working on mixed-media art projects, she finds constant inspiration in natural simplicity and intentional living.
Chelsea Mercanti
Chelsea combines a passion for design, organization, and client experience in her role as Showroom Manager. Specializing in showroom tours, quoting, customer service, and project coordination, she works closely with designers, homeowners, and industry professionals to ensure every detail is executed seamlessly behind the scenes.
With a strong focus on communication and relationship-building, Chelsea enjoys guiding clients through the showroom experience while supporting projects from initial selections through completion.
Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys getting lost in a good book (often spending her lunch breaks reading in the cottage) and spending time with friends, family and her dog, Frankie.
