Array was Vibia’s first collaboration with Umut Yamac. It was shown at Euroluce 2023, and Vibia says it became a bestseller within a year.
About Array
Fine threads are stretched between two metal rings, and a hidden source washes them from below. Light goes both up and down, and the layered threads shimmer as you move past them. Vibia says the voids in the weave let you layer several without them feeling obtrusive. Some sizes are nearly two metres tall, with matte black rings and terra red, green or beige thread.
