Lukas Peet designed Column in 2022, and it takes its shape from the classical column: stacked segments of machine mould-blown glass, faceted like fluting, that soften the light as it spreads into the room.
About Column
It comes in two sizes. Upright, it hangs one to six segments tall and suits a stairwell or a double-height entry. On its side, it comes in three to six segments, or eight, ten or twelve, long enough for a dining table. There’s one installed in our Ottawa showroom. The glass comes in clear carbon, stone-like ivory or iridescent amber, and A-N-D offers dim-to-warm. A large segment weighs over five kilograms, so a long run needs your contractor to confirm the ceiling. There are ceiling, table, floor and system versions too.
