Circus

Interior

Pendants

Edmondo Testaguzza and Matteo Ugolini designed Circus as three blown-glass pendants with a white filigree band. The band is wrapped around the molten glass, which is then stretched and blown, a technique Karman dates to the 16th century.

About Circus

The stripes give the shade the look of a circus tent, and Karman says each piece is unique. The three sizes can hang together as one composition over a table or an island.

About

Karman
Karman, founded in 2005 in Fossombrone, Italy, makes lighting in an unusually wide range of materials, from ceramic and blown glass to fibreglass, resin and linen. Many of its pieces start with a joke, like the ceramic animals of the Karman Zoo. Flux Lighting carries the full Karman range in Ottawa.
